    Corneal alkali injury often causes extensive damage to the ocular surface and the whole anterior eye segment leading to partial or total vision loss. What is the big deal with molecular hydrogen?
Hydrogen is the first element on the periodic table, and it is the lightest molecule in the universe. Research over the years have established that molecular hydrogen is a very powerful antioxidant.

H2 is very safe and the risk of overdose is nil. Research demonstrates that there is an amount of H2 that is not enough but there is not an amount that appears to be too much or too high. This is due to the fact that our lungs will simply exhale the excess. H2 does not build up in our system. H2 for ingestion purposes, has an extremely high safety profile.

Can the Q-Spa be put in any bath that contains other bath ingredients such as epsom salt?
The Q-Spa can be put in any bath that contains other ingredients like epsom salt, himalayan salt, or any bubble bath products as long as these ingredients do not contain a lot of oil. It may be hard to remove or clean the oil from the Q-Spa. In addition, when adding bath salts or similar ingredients avoid putting them directly on top of the Q-Spa. After the bath, make sure to thoroughly rinse out the Q-Spa before next use.
I enjoy taking a hot bath. What water temperatures can I use the Q-Spa in? At what temperature is it not effective?
The operating water temperature for the Q-Spa is between 5 degree to 45 degree Celsius.
I sometimes sit in the bath for over an hour. Can I keep running the Q-Spa?
The Q-Spa will generate hydrogen for 20 minutes per cycle. The Q-Spa may operate for 3-4 cycles in a row as long there are enough water in the bathtub to prevent overheating. To do this, just press the activation or power switch each time you want to start another cycle.
On a full charge, how many 20-minute cycles can I expect to get from the Q-Spa?
The Q-Spa can generally run for about 3-4 cycles on a full charge.
Will I still get the benefits of the hydrogen bath if I use the Q-Spa on a big Jacuzzi tub?
To get to therapeutic levels of dissolved hydrogen in a bigger sized tub, you would need multiple H2 generation devices and a longer generation time (at least 45 minutes).
What are the other uses of the Q-Spa other than in a bathtub?
The Q-Spa can also be used for a foot soak or as part of your facial cleansing routine. To do so, simply submerge the Q-Spa on the applicable basin or sink and press the activation button.
Do I have to fully charge the Q-Spa each time I take a bath?
Since the Q-Spa generally runs for 3-4 cycles on a full charge, we recommend you fully charge the Q-Spa before a bath unless you are only taking a quick bath.

Q-Spa: Care and Maintenance
How often should I clean my Q-Spa?
Each time you use the Q-Spa you should thoroughly rinse the Q-Spa with clean water. After about 6 months of regular use, we recommend a more thorough cleaning which would require the removal of the top part of the Q-Spa and soaking the bottom part with citric acid powder for 3 hours. The full instructions are described in the instruction manual that comes with the package.
How does the Q-Spa charge?
The Q-Spa comes with a power cable. Simply remove the rubber charge port cover and attach the power cable. After charging is complete, the LED indicator will show green and you can remove the power cable. Make sure the rubber charge port cover is fully closed and sealed after you finish charging.
How long does it take to be fully charged?
It takes 2-3 hours to fully charge the Q-Spa.
